Our story is rooted in this wonderful city where top-chefs and weekend grill masters turn to their pits. In 1947, St. Louis’s local meat packers embraced a new rib cut to differentiate their premium product from those of other national packing houses. There, the St. Louis Style Rib was born and quickly became part the normal cut across America and is still to this day!

Camp 31 was founded in 1908 as a sawmill general store outside Brewton, Alabama. Nearly eight decades later, in 1985, Camp 31 BBQ was established by Larry Murphy, and has been serving up mouthwatering and authentic Southern Style BBQ ever since. In 1986, the Brewton Police Dept. helped Camp 31 BBQ enter their first competitive cook-off in Pensacola, Florida, and won three first-place trophies! Since then, Camp 31 BBQ’s well decorated competition-team has continued to tour North America, feeding delicious food to massive crowds everywhere they go.

Since 1982, Pistol Pete’s Oklahoma Smokehouse has been serving truly authentic BBQ, cooked “low n slow” over real fruit wood logs.
